A Soul

Dug up one of my school notebooks, a really old one I think. Had some poems I wrote in class 9/10. So here's a digitized copy.

I looked, I espied,
someone sitting on a horse named time.
Drave past the trench of life
with angel of death adorning its shrine.

I enquired- Where thy go,
Quoth he-
“A cruise through life,
sitting on the steed of time;
discern the flowers, discern the thorns.
Moving on the path of dead sand
and spree the glittering seas.
Worned when I, tarry by the inn.
Bade the woes and slay the strains.
Tomorrow again shall I begin,
befriend a friend for next inn.
Doomed to fall like autumn leaves,
At each inn,
A new mien, destined to doom
For escort till the next door.
Naught a start, Not a cease
Since I started, in a breeze.”
